"Born in Cuba, and being brought to live in Las Vegas as kid, is certainly a cultural shock. Everyone wants a better life for their family, so I get it. But as a kid, it is sometimes harder to grasp that. I could never stop thinking about how I missed my old home. Or how I missed the way people were different over there. But I am here in the United States for a reason, and not scared to provide my children a promising future. I welcomed them to the United States, but I will also make sure to welcome them to Cuba."
