HHM: Cuba V

Description
"Starting in 1789, Cuba imported an estimation of 800,000 African slaves. And even though slavery was eventually outlawed in 1886, Afro-Cubans were faced with racially-profiled suppression. Which inspired the Afrocubanismo movement to take place throughout the 1920's. And afterwards, blackness was finally accepted to be apart of the national identity."
