"Joropo has been the national dance of Venezuela since 1882. And often known as Música Llanera. Beloved by Venezuelans, the musical style combines South American, African, and European musical elements. Such as, the llanera harp, maracas, and the Cuatro. More significantly, older musicians have emphasized the importance of Los Llanos. Being that, Venezuela's landscape and natural phenomena has inspired and generated the beautiful existence of joropo."
