HHM: Nicaragua III

Description
"The flag of Nicaragua was officially adopted on August 27, 1971. Prior to that, a different design was made for the nation, and it was inspired by the Federal Republic of Central America. Most people don't know this, but two-hundred years ago, the coat of arms actually displayed 'Provincias Unidas del Centro de America'. As of now, this is no longer the case, and it currently displays the message of 'Republica de Nicaragua'. If you were to take a closer look at the flag of Nicaragua, you will notice additional details that play an important role for symbolizing the nation. That is, the five volcanoes, which represent the original five member states. The Cap of Liberty, which represents the nation's freedom. And lastly, the rainbow surrounded by rays of sunshine, which serves in purpose of inferring the bright future to come for Nicaragua. So, the next time you come across the flag of Nicaragua, you will instantaneously know the story behind it. And possibly, even show more appreciation for it."
