Description
“On a map, Uruguay looks tiny. And it is. It’s a small country made up of just three million or so people. The map won’t tell you about the delicious scent of a good asado or the earthy taste of maté. It can’t replicate the eruption of our pride when la Celeste scores a goal, or the sound of candombe shaking the neighborhood streets. The map can’t tell you about the heart of our country, how it beats so strong and so hard that if you’re one of those lucky three million - you feel it, our culture, no matter where you are. The map can’t tell you any of those things. But I, a proud Uruguaya, can.”
